Comedian Raju Srivastav reported to be critical, undergoing treatment at AIIMS Delhi

Comedian Raju Srivastav Health Critical: The 58-year-old stand-up comedian was rushed to AIIMS emergency at around 10:45 am on Wednesday.

New Delhi: Comedian-actor Raju Srivastav who suffered mini heart attack on Wednesday is reported to be in a critical condition at the moment.

It is being said that  Raju Srivastav has been shifted to a ventilator. However, no official confirmation has been made yet.

According to the doctors, 100 per cent block was found in a large part in angiography, said Sources.

The 58-year-old stand-up comedian was rushed to AIIMS emergency at around 10:45 am on Wednesday.

It was reported that Srivastava had to be resuscitated thrice. He underwent angioplasty. He was admitted to the coronary care unit (CCU).

Ashok Srivastava, cousin brother of  Raju Srivastav said that the comic suffered the heart attack while exercising.

Currently, he is the chairman of the Film Development Council Uttar Pradesh.

He is best known for featuring in several Bollywood films, including ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’, ‘Baazigar’, ‘Bombay to Goa’, and ‘Aamdani Atthanni Kharcha Rupaiya’.

Raju Srivastav also appeared in the third season of the reality show ‘Bigg Boss’.

He came into the limelight after performing as a stand-up comedian on the show ‘The Great Indian Laughter Challenge’ for his great comic timing.
