New Delhi: As soon as Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan 2 hit the theaters, it gathered all praise worldwide. The movie entered Rs 100 crore club in just 2-3 days of release, owing to huge worldwide collections and with the flick entering its 5th day, it is all set to fetch Rs 200 crore at the Box Office.
The movie features an ensemble cast including Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Chiyaan Vikram, Trisha Krishnan, Jayam Ravi, and Karthi in the key role.

As per the estimates, the film earned 11. crores on day five of its release, which is a decent collection. However, the film is doing well in its Tamil-speaking belt. On May 2, it was estimated that the Tamil region witnesses 58.04% occupancy, the Hindi region saw 14.21%, the Malayalam 34.49%, and the Telgu region with 25.66% occupancy.
Part 1 of Ponniyin Selvan was a big hit. The film was derived from a novel by Kalki Krishnamurthy and Part 2 is its continuation. The audience loved the film and praised it. Recently the film has crossed the mark of 200 crores globally and has been appreciated by audiences.
