New Delhi: Delhi Crime is back with its second season which will be premiering on Netflix on August 26. Shefali Shah is returning as DCP Vartika Chaturvedi with a new case in hand where a series of murders has been taking place. The first season created history as it was the first Indian show to bag the Best Drama Series title at the International Emmy Awards.
Shefali Shah as DCP Vartika Singh along with her teammates Neeti Singh, played by Rasika Duggal, and Bhupendra Singh, played by Rajesh Tailang gets on the hunt for a serial killer this time. Besides, Adil Hussain, Anurag Arora, Sidharth Bhardwaj, and Gopal Dutt also reprise their roles.
The trailer of Delhi Crime Season 2 shows how Delhi police indulge look out for a serial killer who has been murdering multiple senior citizens. It also shows the struggles faced by the Delhi Police to handle the situation taking place in the city with an understaffed force.
The trailer seems to focus on the infamous kachcha-banian gang, which was active in parts of North India.

Shefali Shah was last seen in Darlings along with Alia Bhatt, Vijay Varma and Roshan Matthew. Streaming on Netflix, the movie has won the hearts of millions with a strong storyline and exceptional acting.
