New Delhi: The first song Pankaj Tripathi-starrer Sherdil – The Philibhi Saga was released by the makers on Tuesday. Since its release, the song is being widely listened to on the internet as it is the last song recorded by singer late legendary singer Krishnakumar Kunnath, famous by his stage name KK.
Dhoop Panni Bahne De: KK’s last recorded song for Pankaj Tripathi’s film ‘ Sherdil’ released
The lyrics of the song are written by veteran poet and writer Gulzar. The melodious track Dhoop Paani Bahne De gives a message of forest conservation. In the video of the song, one can watch Pankaj roaming in the forest.

After the launch of the song, it has received over 3,30,000 lakh views and thousands of comments.

Sherdil: The Pilibhit Saga features Pankaj Tripathi, Sayani Gupta, and Neeraj Kabi in the lead roles. It is directed by Srijit Mukherji and produced by Reliance Entertainment Studio and T-Series Films. It is scheduled to release in theatres on the 24th of June 2022.
Notably, KK died due to cardiac arrest hours after a concert in Kolkata. He was rushed to hospital but doctors declared him brought dead.
On his demise, PM Narendra Modi also shared his condolence message.
