New Delhi: Puja Singh who is known to portray various characters in TV shows like “Diya Aur Baati Hum”, “Shakti” and “Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal” has been single for quite some time now. But it was a long-kept secret from everyone and she finally broke this news to Newsroompost.
Talking about her divorce from husband Kapil Chattani which happened almost two years back, Pooja Singh says “It was a mutual decision and I still believe that Kapil is one of the nicest person I have ever known in life.”
When asked about the reason for divorce, Pooja says “Sometimes things do not work out between two people. And it’s difficult to say, Why it did not work? So rather than dragging a relationship, it’s better to separate and find your own way.”
It was in 2017 Emily aka Puja Singh of “Diya Aur Baati Hum” tied the knot with her longtime boyfriend Kapil Chattani who works in Canada. However, Puja Singh never went or shifted to Canada. She lived in Mumbai and kept working in TV serials.
When asked how did her family react to this change in her life, Pooja said “My parents have always been very supportive. When I decided to marry Kapil, they supported me and the same support continued when I decided to part ways with Kapil. That chapter of my life is over, but my parents and I have no hard feelings for Kapil”
On the professional front, Pooja Singh is exploring the world of music videos. She was last seen in the show “Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal” and have been on a break from daily soap since then.”
