Shah Rukh Khan brought a little extra glitz to Dubai on Sunday, December 17, as he promoted his highly anticipated flick Dunki. Glamorous in a blue shirt, grey pants, a grey jacket, and a pair of sunglasses, SRK enchanted the crowd with his trademark coolness.

SRK’s devoted Twitter following, the Shah Rukh Khan Universe Fan Club, recently shared videos of the actor’s upbeat stage performances from the film promotional.

Chaiyya Chaiyya, a classic song from Shah Rukh’s 1998 film Dil Se, was the show-stopper when he energetically grooved in it. The most enthusiastic applause from the thrilled audience accompanied his perfect recollection of all the famous dance moves.

Dancing to the song Lutt Putt Gaya to O Maahi Shah Rukh Khan ratcheted up the drama even higher. The upbeat rhythms of the song, written by Pritam and sung by Arijit Singh, came to life as SRK gracefully performed all the fun dance moves. The audience went wild, yelling and cheering Shah Rukh with excitement as he performed.

About the Film

During his remarks on Dunki at the Dubai event, Shah Rukh Khan said that he felt the need for a more personal film following Jawan and decided to make Dunki. SRK, looking back on his cinematic journey this year, said that he hopes to end the year with a film that hits closer to home.

The film’s summary suggests a touching story revolving around a group of friends who go out on an adventure to get permits to travel abroad. Vicky Kaushal, Anil Grover, Vikram Kochhar, Taapsee Pannu, Boman Irani, and Shah Rukh Khan are all part of the stellar ensemble cast.

Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki, produced by Rajkumar Hirani Films, Red Chillies Entertainment, and Jio Studios, will hit theatres on December 21.
