Election movie OTT Release Date: Vijay Kumar starrer Tamil movie Election is now available for watching online. Helmed under the direction of renowned South Indian movie director Thamizh, the political drama, on July 11th, 2024 landed on Amazon Prime Video where prime membership owners can enjoy it from their home’s comfort.

Featuring Vijay Kumar and Preethi Asrani in key roles, Election arrived at the theaters earlier this year on May 17th. The film received a mixed reception from cine-goers & its overall Box Office collection also remained mediocre by the time it concluded its journey on the big screens.

With Thamizh, Vijay Kumar, and Azhagiya Periyavan writing its dialogues, Election tells the tale of a guy named Nadarasan who, despite being the son of a popular politician, has kept himself away from politics.
However, one fine day, Nadarasan learns that his dad’s own political party has humiliated him & decides to jump into the ruthless world of politics to fight for his father’s honor.
He then contests in the local Panchayat election & does everything in his power to get justice for his insulted dad. What happens next & how Nadarasan overcomes the challenges to establish himself as the next big thing in the world of politics is the film’s remaining story.
