Explosion near Sunny Leone’s fashion show venue in Imphal, no injuries reported

New Delhi: A huge explosion took place near a fashion show in Manipur’s capital city Imphal. Bollywood actor Sunny Leone is to attend the show as the showstopper on February 5, Sunday. The incident took place in Hatta Kangjeibung and no injuries have been reported.

The explosion took place about 100 metres from the venue at around 6:30 am on February 4, Saturday.

The cause of the blast is not yet clear, it is not known whether it was due to an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) or a grenade, an official said. Meanwhile, no militant outfit has claimed responsibility for the blast.

The actor was recently seen enjoying in a pool in Dubai as she shared a video on her social media accounts.

On the work front, Sunny will next be seen in the Tamil film ‘Quotation Gang’ directed by Vivek K. The crime-thriller also stars Priyamani and Jackie Shroff. The makers recently released the trailer of the film which shows a lot of violence. ‘Quotation Gang’ will release in cinemas in 2023.
