New Delhi: After much speculation, actor-director-producer Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar are getting married.
Bollywood’s renowned lyricist and screenwriter Javed Akhtar confirmed the big news to English daily Bombay Times and said that it will be a ‘simple affair’.
Unlike the earlier news reports, the wedding will not be held in a Mumbai hotel, instead, it will be held at Javed’s residence in Khandala.
Javed said, “Yes the wedding is taking place and the preparations are being done by the wedding planners”.
Opening up about the guest list, Javed Akhtar, “Taking the situation into consideration it is obvious that they cannot host anything on a large scale. So, they are only calling a few people. It will be a very simple affair”.
He also said that invitation cards have not been sent yet.
Talking about Farhan’s girlfriend Shibani he said, “She is a very nice girl and the family likse her very much. The most important thing is that Farhan and she get along very well, which is great”.
Few days ago, actor-singer Shibani Dandekar posted an adorable birthday message on social media as Farhan turned 48 on Sunday.
Taking to her Instagram handle, Shibani posted glamourous pictures of them together, dressed in black. Further, she penned, “My Foo, to what will be your best year yet. Love you FOREVER. Happy birthday. @faroutakhtar. #happybirthday #love #goodvibesonly.”
