New Delhi: Shahid Kapoor’s OTT debut series Farzi created a lot of buzz after its trailer release. Well, the wait is over now as Farzi has begun to stream on Amazon Prime today.

Here, our determined yet struggling cop (Vijay Sethupathi) is all up to bust a counterfeit scam plotted by unassuming Sunny (Shahid Kapoor).
Between the meme-worthy punchlines to Vijay Sethupathi’s comedic struggle with the Hindi language, the series tightens and loosens its grip episode to episode. Some are adrenal rushing while others are just lethargic.

Sunny’s rowdy attitude can look like an overperformance for some. As his purpose gradually shifts from need to greed, he simply makes it harder to pity him with each passing episode.
