From Deepika Padukone to Florence Pugh: Top 5 best dressed celebs at Oscars 2023

The event was full of emotional moments and glamour and here is the list of five celebs who stole the show with their gorgeous looks.

New Delhi: The 95th Academy Awards were held in Los Angeles and the event featured some of the most renowned movie celebs from across the globe. ‘Everything Everywhere All At Once’ won seven awards, including Best Film, Best Direction, Best Actress and Best Supporting Actor. India also won two awards with ‘Naatu Naatu’ and ‘The Elephant Whisperers’ in the Best Original Song and Best Documentary (Short) categories.

Indian beauty turned the epitome of elegance in an off-shoulder black velvet gown. She completed her look with a hair bun and a diamond drop necklace. The actor presented and gave a shoutout to the RRR song ‘Naatu Naatu’ at the Oscars and her fans called her a ‘Goddess’ and reminisced about her character Shanti Priya from ‘Om Shanti Om’.

2. Florence Pugh

Pugh wore a stylish Valentino Couture gown slit to the bust. She wore black pants below the 19th-century-style white gown, along with black heels. Her gown with her trademark nose ring was once again a style statement at one of the biggest stages for cinema.

3. Tems

Tems’ outfit was an avant-garde style gown with a hood. She looked no less than an angel in her white gown. The Lever Couture dress had a cloudy and smoky effect to it and is an example of when a designer says something through a piece of art, which is the design.

4. Paul Mescal

Nominated for the Best Actor award for his heartwrenching performance in ‘Aftersun’, Paul Mescal wore a a Gucci suit. While many chose to go with black, Paul had a white suit with black pants and a bow. The actor did not win the award, but has won hearts with his performance and his looks at the event.

5. Hong Chau

Nominated for the Best Supporting Actress award for ‘The Whale’, Hong Chau wore a Prada pink gown. She had it customised with a Mandarin collar as an ode to her culture and also had a black fringe tail-like piece at the back.
