New Delhi: When we think of Bollywood actors, we associate them with their ‘ideal-lover’ on-screen image. In fact, with their certain roles, they end up setting an example of eternal loyalty and sacrifice in love.
However, once the glamorous veil is off, you can see beyond the perfect love life of these stars. Being cheated on is a very painful thing to experience. These movie stars not only cheated on their wives/partners but also boldly admitted doing so in front of the whole world.
1. Ranbir Kapoor
When Ranbir Kapoor tied the knot with 10-year-younger actress Alia Bhatt, many were left surprised because the Bollywood actor has a history of cheating on his partners.
In 2011, he admitted to cheating on his girlfriend. While he did not name either of the two women, it was more than obvious that he cheated on Deepika Padukone with Katrina Kaif. Deepika has also talked about being cheated on by an ex-boyfriend.
2. Nawazuddin Siddiqui
Today, everyone knows that Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s relationship with his wife has turned hostile.
However, back when everything was supposedly normal between the couple, Nawazuddin Siddiqui boldly admitted having a one-night stand with a waitress in his book. Calling the time incredible, he wrote that somewhere between 2006-2010, a ‘stunning’ waitress recognized him at a New York restaurant. “What happens in New York, stays in New York,” he wrote in his book.
3. Saif Ali Khan
His cheating confessions don’t fit the description of a bold admission but the Saif Ali Khan had to spill the beans during a game on the chat show Koffee with Karan.
Saif, in a silent admission about cheating on his then-wife Amrita Singh, took a coffee shot.
4. Govinda
90’s superhit Govinda is known for his humble and down-to-earth nature. However, Govinda has admittedly cheated on his wife Sunita Ahuja with many different actresses.
The most famous scandal of his cheating saga was allegedly being caught red-handed in a hotel room with Rani Mukherjee. At that time, Rani Mukherjee and Govinda were working on their first film together, Hadh Kar Di Apne.
In another incident, he boldly told a magazine, that he was in love with his co-star Neelam Khothari while still being engaged to his now wife Sunita Ahuja.
Calling himself merciless, he said he would even praise Neelam in front of Sunita and told her to change herself to become like Neelam.
His further confessions can lend him the award of ‘worst husband ever.’ He told the press ” I never wanted to be serious with Sunita…my involvement with her was totally calculated.”
At one point, he even broke off his engagement with Sunita to marry Neelam Kothari. But it was Neelam who didn’t want to marry Govinda.
5. Kamal Hassan
Kamal Hassan being a serial cheater is a known fact. When he was married to Vani Ganapathy, he got publicly involved with Sarika. This led to the end of his marriage with Ganapathy.
Then in 1988, he tied the knot with Sarika and the duo had two daughters together. But this didn’t stop Kamal Hassan from another public extramarital affair. He got involved with another actress, Simran Bagga.
Sarika parted ways from Kamal Hassan in 2004.
As of now, Kamal Hassan ended a 13-year-old live-in relationship with his last partner Gautami Menon.
