Gadar 2 review goes viral: ‘Bolenge Hindustan Zindabad, Bandi Chaiye Pakistani’

Sanchit hilariously points out, “Even in this installment, they’ve masterminded a unique version of ‘reverse’ Love Jihad. These two characters, Tara and his son Jeete, chant ‘Hindustan Zindabad’ throughout the movie, yet interestingly prefer Pakistani women for companionship.”

New Delhi: As Gadar 2 continues to enjoy a formidable run at the box office, its viewership surges with each passing day. Amidst the fervor, a standout review has emerged that’s caught the attention of netizens for its comedic insights. Sanchit’s review commences with the declaration that he’s just witnessed the film, deeming it a ‘good movie.’ With a straight face, he jests, “Otherwise, I thought this time they would finally return Tara Sakeena to Pakistan, they must be tired of her after all these years.” This humorous take references the narrative continuity of the characters.

Further, Sanchit hilariously points out, “Even in this installment, they’ve masterminded a unique version of ‘reverse’ Love Jihad. These two characters, Tara and his son Jeete, chant ‘Hindustan Zindabad’ throughout the movie, yet interestingly prefer Pakistani women for companionship.”

He astutely highlights the plight of Jeete (played by Utkarsh Sharma), noting the character’s predicament of getting slapped for desiring Pakistan in the first part and then again in the sequel for asserting the opposite. Sanchit playfully lauds Sunny’s oft-repeated dialogue: ‘Jeete!’

Recalling memorable scenes from the original Gadar, Sanchit amusingly points out Tara’s extraordinary feats. “In the previous Gadar, Tara uprooted a hand pump, and this time, he takes on an electric pole. Apparently, Pakistan is now grappling with both water and electricity shortages,” he quips. The reviewer astutely mentions that India has, in this sequel, triumphed over Pakistan in a total of five battles: three waged by the Indian Army and two led by the formidable Tara Singh.

In a separate instance, a video of another individual’s Gadar review has gone viral on social media, adding to the comic commentary circulating around the film.

Meanwhile, Gadar’s dream run at the box office persists, crossing the monumental ₹200 crore mark in domestic collections, as confirmed by the film’s makers. Helmed by Anil Sharma, the movie stands as a sequel to the 2001 blockbuster “Gadar: Ek Prem Katha.” Released on August 11, the film casts Sunny Deol in his iconic role as Tara Singh.
