New Delhi: Abhishek Bachchan’s much-awaited sports drama Ghoomer ’s trailer has been released today giving the audiences a glimpse into the world of emotions, inspiration, and a different narrative of storytelling. The film features Abhishek Bachchan, Saiyami Kher in the key role and will give you a high-intensity sports drama.
In the film, Abhishek is portraying the character of a cricket coach whose life takes a U-turn after he meet a paraplegic sportsperson played by Saiyami Kher. The story unfolds the journey of the duo facing societal challenges and struggles while chasing their dreams. The film has distinctive storytelling by R. Balki while shaping the character of Abhishek Bachchan and Saiyami Kher. The performance by Abhishek and Saiyami has outshined the film as seen in the trailer.
The trailer begins with the introduction of Saiyami ‘s character as a player in a women’s cricket team, then Abhishek Bachchan is introduced as an ex-cricketer who had not a very successful career in cricket and turned into an alcoholic man. Saiyami loses her right hand in an accident and the story revolves around the same how she overcomes her disability and turns into an opportunity whereas Abhishek turns her coach who guides her to chase her dream.
Amitabh Bachchan will also be seen in cameo playing the role of a commentator. Apart from Abhishek and Saiyami, Angad Bedi and Sabana Azmi will be seen in the pivotal role.
