New Delhi: Takashi Yamazaki’s 2023 blockbuster thriller Godzilla Minus One is finally streaming on OTT after a long time.
Starring Minami Hamabe, and Ryunosuke Kamiki among others in pivotal roles, the Japanese epic is now available for watching on Netflix where it landed on June 1, 2024.
However, to be able to access the movie on the OTT giant, viewers will be required to have a basic subscription to the platform’s mobile, basic, standard, or Premium plan.

Prepared with a mammoth budget of USD 15 million (Approximately Rs 125 crores), Godzilla Minus One arrived on the big screens surrounded by huge expectations on November 3, 2023.
Wreaking havoc at the Box Office from the very first day, the film managed to live up to the expectations of the makers & become a massive hit within no time.
Owing to its captivating storyline, brilliant cinematography, and exceptional acting of its stellar cast, the epic actioner successfully won over the fans & went on amassing a remarkable total of USD 115 million (approximately Rs 960 crores) by the end of its days on the ticket windows.

Godzilla Minus One Plot
Written by Takashi Yamazaki, Godzilla Minus One’s story takes place after World War II. It circles the life of a guilt-driven army man Koichi who is struggling hard to make peace with the acts he committed during the war.
Amid this, a large creature Godzilla starts to wreak havoc in and around Tokyo, causing massive chaos in the entire area. Koichi, meanwhile, sees it as a perfect opportunity to do some good for humanity. What happens next & How Koichoi redeems his past mistakes is what the movie is all about.

In its cast, Godzilla Minus One sees Minami Hamabe, Ryunosuke Kamiki, Kuranosuke Sasaki, Sakura Ando, Hidetaka Yoshioka, and Munetaka Aoki essaying pivotal characters.
