From September 13th, 2024, Goli Soda – The Rising will start streaming on Disney + Hotstar, allowing the fans to watch it from the comfort of their homes in Bengali, Tamil, Marathi, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam language.

Confirming the official premiere date of the web series, the OTT platform, on Tuesday, dropped its much-awaited trailer on social media. Along with the trailer, the streamer also penned a caption that read, “The Boys are Back. Hotstar Specials #GoliSodaRising Streaming From September 13 Only on Disney+ Hotstar.”

Plot 

Goli Soda – The Rising’s plot sees a group of friends, residing and trying to make ends meet in the vibrant Koyambedu market.

The seeming gangster drama series focuses on their life journey, showcasing the youngsters overcoming challenges posed by the crooked elements of society together, to rise and make their own identity.

Cast and Production

Helmed by Vijay Milton, Goli Sota -The Rising is the third installment of the director’s 2014 & 2018 released Tamil films titled Goli Sota and Goli Sota 2 respectively.

In its star cast, the crime drama features Abirami, Ammu Abhirami, Avanthika Mishra, Bharath Sreeni, Cheran, Udhaya Ra, Imman Annachi, John Mahendran, Murugesh, Pandi, Pugazh, R K Vijay Murugan, Ramya Nambeesan, Seetha, Shaam, Kishore, Kutty Mani, Sujatha, and Swetha playing pivotal roles. Ramesh Krishnamoorthy has produced the web series under the banner of Global One Studios.
