Goree Puranam OTT Release: Telugu actor Suhas, who has been lately rolling out one after another movie for his fans, last graced the big screens in Bobby’s village drama titled Goree Puranam.
Boasting actors like Vishika Kota and Raghu Karumanchi in its main cast, the movie arrived on the big screens to test its luck with the cinephiles in September 2024 only to get completely overlooked at the Box Office. Despite the fans lauding Suhas for his exceptional acting, Goree Puranam failed to click with the audience & quickly wrapped up its theatrical journey as a commercial failure.
Now, the latest news is that in order to recover from their film’s Box Office debacle, the makers of the Suhas starrer have sold its OTT rights to Aha Video for a decent amount of price. The streaming platform, meanwhile, now looks all set to roll out Telugu comedy-drama on its platform in the coming days, most probably on or around the festival of Dussehra 2024.
Plot of the Movie
After admiring a village from a hilltop for a long time, Ram, a sheep, finally lands there with excitement & high hopes in his heart, only to find some ugly harsh truths about the locals living in the area.
Not much after his arrival, Ram witnesses that the place long adored by him is not even remotely near to what he has been imagining for so long as almost everyone residing there is too intertwined in religious & political turmoil.
To make matters even worse, Ram is also shoved inside a prison by the villagers, where he sparks a bond of friendship with his inmate Suhas, and together, the duo fights the battle for libration & freedom. What happens next is the remaining story of the film.
Cast and Production
Gorre Puranam features Suhas as the male lead while starring Vishika Kota as his leading lady. Besides the two, Raghu Karumanchi is also seen in the film essaying another important key character. Praveen Reddy has produced the rural drama under the Focul Ventures production banner.
