Guardian OTT Release Date: Hansika Motwani’s Tamil horror film is finally streaming online

Guardian OTT Release Date: Acclaimed South Indian actress Hansika Motwani started in a female-centric horror movie, Guardian.

Written and directed by Guru Saravanan Sabri, the Tamil supernatural thriller made its way to the theaters on March 8th, 2024, and received a mixed reception from the cinemagoers.

While the film’s spine-chilling horror elements were praised by the audiences, its imperfect execution emerged as its main weakness and attracted criticism from many. However, such minor flaws didn’t stop the Hansika starrer from amassing a decent money at the Box Office as it concluded its theatrical run on a positive note, although remaining nowhere near achieving a ‘hit’ status.

Now, over a year after trying its luck on the big screens, the film has finally made its long-awaited debut on OTT, triggering a wave of thrill and excitement amongst the 33-year-old’s fans.

Besides Hansika, Guardian also features a number of other renowned actors like Suresh Chandra Menon, Sriman, Baby Krishitaas, Yaazhin Rajendran, Pradeep Benetto Rayan, Tigergarden Thangadurai, Abhishek Vinod, and M. J. Shriram in its main cast.  Vijay Chandar has produced the movie under the banner of Blockbuster Production.
