New Delhi: Based on the novel ‘Fire & Blood’ authored by George R.R. Martin and a prequel to ‘Game of Thrones’, ‘House of the Dragon’ has made its mark with the first five episodes. The show follows an internal succession war within House Targaryen, 172 years before the birth of Daenerys Targaryen. While fans eagerly wait for the next episode, there is a lot of buzz around it.
The show stars Paddy Considine, Matt Smith, Fabien Frankel, Eve Best, Sonoya Mizonu and others. Actor Emma D’Arcy is set to star in the sixth episode as the adult princess Rhaenyera.

The show is being telecasted on HBO, while for OTT viewers it is available on Disney+Hostar. In the USA, the sixth episode will go on air on September 25 at 9 pm EST while in India, the time will be 6:30 am on September 26.

The next episode is titled ‘The Princess and the Queen’ and revolves around the relationship between Princess Rhaenyra and Queen Alicent. The fifth episode showed Princess Rhaenyra’s wedding with Ser Laenor, which turned violent. The sixth episode will take viewers ten years ahead, where the king leads a council meeting while his daughter Princess Rhaenyra is also present there. The Princess disagrees with her parents on issues of stepson’s defence and it is expected to be filled with a lot of thrill.
The show is created and run by Ryan J. Condal along with the author George R.R. Martin. meanwhile, season one is expected to have a total of 10 episodes releasing one every week.
