Ibrahim Ali Khan secures second film even before debut; Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films to back him

Described as a finely crafted love story that promises to take audiences on a journey filled with romance and music, the project underscores Ibrahim’s versatility as an emerging actor. While the storyline remains closely guarded, the hunt for the film’s female lead is still ongoing.

New Delhi: Ibrahim Ali Khan, the son of Bollywood luminaries Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh, has already set his sights on a second film even before his debut hits the silver screen. According to a report by Pinkvilla, the budding actor has been chosen to headline a romantic drama under the banner of Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films. The film, tentatively titled ‘Diler,’ is set to be directed by Kunal Deshmukh.

Sources cited by Pinkvilla reveal that Ibrahim was captivated by the film’s script and readily gave his nod of approval. Described as a finely crafted love story that promises to take audiences on a journey filled with romance and music, the project underscores Ibrahim’s versatility as an emerging actor. While the storyline remains closely guarded, the hunt for the film’s female lead is still ongoing. As per the report, principal photography is slated to commence in December 2023, with a substantial portion of the film being shot in London.

Ibrahim is set to make his debut in Bollywood with ‘Sarzameen,’ a project backed by Dharma Productions and directed by Kayoze Irani, the son of renowned actor Boman Irani. Just last month, Hindustan Times exclusively reported that producer Karan Johar had roped in his close friend, Kajol, to join the film’s cast.

A source commented on Ibrahim’s demeanor, saying, “He is very warm, childish. He is new to the business and has yet to catch up. He has zero attitude. Unlike some other newcomers, he isn’t over-smart (or doesn’t carry the star kid tag). Workwise, he was good. And, of course, he reminds everyone of Saif Ali Khan. When he comes to the sets, it feels like Saif from 20 years ago has stepped in. He is so young and just a true carbon copy of his father.”

Ibrahim has been making waves in the world of entertainment, bolstered by his industry connections and close relationships with fellow star kids like Palak Tiwari, Khushi Kapoor, and Nysa Devgn. Although he maintains a private Instagram account, he often finds himself in the paparazzi spotlight, and his sister Sara Ali Khan frequently shares glimpses of him on her social media platforms. Recently, she posted pictures of their Raksha Bandhan celebrations, further cementing their bond as siblings in the public eye.
