New Delhi: Balaji Madhavan stepped into the movie industry as a director with his latest suspense-thriller Idi Minnal Kadhal.
After having a moderate theatrical run, the Tamil flick is now arriving to entertain the fans from the comfort of their homes by making its digital debut on a leading streaming platform.
From 26 April 2024, Idi Minnal Kadhal will become available for watching on Aha Video, allowing the viewers to enjoy it with a basic subscription to the platform’s service.

Confirming Idi Minnal Kadhal’s OTT release date, Ahatamil, on Monday, took to its official social media handle & dropped a date reveal poster of the Jagan starrer.
With the poster, the digital portal also dropped a caption that read, “Let’s see if one mistake affects everyone’s life. Idi Minnal Kadha Premieres on April 26.”

Packed with a cast of talented actors like Jay Adithya, Ciby Bhuvana Chandran, and Jagan, Idi Minnal Kadha arrived in the cinemas amid huge expectations on March 29, 2024.
Although the movie failed to pull out anything remarkable at the Box Office, it did manage to attract a decent crowd to the theaters thanks to its fresh storyline, impressive presentation & promising action.
Nevertheless, with the Tamil entertainer now just a few days away from hitting the digital screens, it will be a thing to see what kind of reception it receives from the fans.
Idi Minnal Kadhal Story
After unintentionally claiming the life of an innocent pedestrian (Hritesh) in an unfortunate accident, guilt-stricken Aran (Ciby) wants to confess his mistake in front of the police.
However, scared by the hostile consequences Aran might have to face if he admitted his crime, his girlfriend Janani (Bhavya) with the help of a mechanic Raja (Jagan) convinces her boyfriend to draw a veil over the incident and flee from the crime scene.
Meanwhile, the deceased’s young son Abhi (Jay Adithya), who only had his dad to look after him gets nervous when his dad doesn’t come back to him and continues to wait for him with bated breath.
Later, Hitesh’s neighbor Anjali (Yasmin), who is a professional prostitute, consoles Abhi and helps him get to know the whereabouts of his dad.
The cops eventually tell the two about the accident that killed Hitesh but are unable to give them any details about his killers.
In the meantime, a lunatic moneylender Arul Pandian (Vinset Nagul), to whom Hritesh owes money, starts targeting helpless Abhi by approaching him with sinister intentions. What happens next & who comes to the defense of the little boy is the remaining story of the movie.
