New Delhi: Bollywood star Ishaan Khatter is all set to star alongside the likes of Nicole Kidman, Liev Schreiber, and Dakota Fanning in Netflix’s upcoming web series ‘The Perfect Couple’. The show is an adaptation of Elin Hilderbrand’s novel with the same title. Netflix made the cast announcement and Ishaan Khatter shared a social media post to share the news.
In the series, Ishaan will play the character of Shooter Dival, the groom’s best friend while Nicole Kidman and Liev Schreiber play the groom’s mother and father. Billy Howle stars in the show as Benji Winbury, the groom opposite Eve Hewson as Amelia Sacks, the bride.

As the show follows the novel, it is a murder-mystery set in a backdrop of a wedding. As Amelia Sacks is all set to marry into a wealthy family, there is a dead body on the beach and everyone is a suspect as the dark secrets come out. Novelist Greer Garrison Winbury, played by Kidman, is in the centre of the show as the investigation feels similar to one of her novels.
The limited series will also stars Meghann Fahy, Mia Isaac, Jack Reynor, Sam Nivola, Donna Lynne Champlin, and Isabelle Adjani.
As Ishaan shared the post, her sister-in-law Mira Rajput shared it on her Instagram stories while Misha and Zain Kapoor congratulated their uncle.
Ishaan Khatter has previously done a Netflix Original show when he starred in Mira Nair’s ‘A Suitable Boy’. He was last seen in ‘Phone Bhoot’, a horror-comedy starring Katrina Kaif and Siddhant Chaturvedi.
