Plot
The documentary series follows the Spanish Women’s Football team and their journey to winning the world cup and the events that followed after the non-consenual kiss between the former Royal Spanish Football Association President & player Jenni Hermoso.
The documentary features interviews of the players with some of the famous players like Hermoso, Alexia Putellas, Aitana Bonmatí, Irene Paredes, Olga Carmona, Teresa Abelleira, Ivana Andrés, Laia Codina, Sandra Paños, and Lola Gallardo.
The show follows some of the real events that took place during the 2023 Women’s World Cup and the scandal that followed during the celebration event. After the Women’s Spanish Football team won the match
The team players were gathered on the stage for the honours when one of the women players Jenni Hermoso was kissed on the lips by the former Royal Spanish Football Association President.
Meanwhile, the sudden kiss on her lips left her shocked and uncomfortable and the incident sparked huge media attention and debate across the country, as the moment was captured in the camera.
The President was asked to step down and a lot of debate took place in the social media. However, the documentary also shares the interviews of the players who were present at that time and their reactions.
