New Delhi: The box office success of Jailer, starring Rajnikanth – continues to shatter records, and the movie’s devoted audience can’t seem to control their joy. The fans flocked to the theatres on the seventh day, resulting in a stunning Rs 225.65 crore in earnings. Everything about Nelson Dilipkumar’s directing has been first-rate, from the score to the performances.
Considering the very positive critical and commercial response to the film Jailer, it has apparently been given the go-light for a sequel. It is reported that Jailer will return with a sequel 2. According to reports, Thalapathy Vijay can be featured in that film.
Manobala Vijaybalan on his official Twitter account, on Monday, informed the fans about this exciting announcement. The Jailer director’s words were also included in his post. Vijaybalan wrote,

According to reports, Nelson Dilipkumar has officially committed to creating Jailer 2. More information on Jailer 2 is anticipated, including confirmation of whether the original cast members would return to their roles for Jailer 2 again. Tamannaah Bhatia, Jackie Shroff, Mohanlal, Shiva Rajkumar, Ramya Krishnan, and Vinayakan join Rajinikanth in Jailer. According to rumours, Nelson wants to pair up Thalapathy Vijay and Rajinikanth for the project.
