New Delhi: Rajinikanth’s action-packed movie “Jailer” has achieved a remarkable milestone, grossing ₹500 crore worldwide in just 10 days since its release. This makes it the third Tamil film to enter the prestigious ₹500 crore club, following the success of “2.0” (2018) and “Ponniyin Selvan: I” (2022). As per trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan, Jailer has been well-received across languages, with estimated earnings of ₹18 crore nett in India on its 10th day. The film has been dubbed in multiple languages, including Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.

Jailer, the highly anticipated film starring Rajinikanth, has achieved significant success at the box office. Since its release on August 10, the movie has garnered approximately ₹263.9 crore nett in India alone. After earning ₹10.05 crore nett on Friday, the film witnessed a substantial jump in collections on Saturday, earning ₹18 crore nett. In its opening week, Jailer collected ₹235.85 crore nett in India across all languages.
Notably, the film’s global box office collection is equally noteworthy. Jailer has become the third Tamil movie to surpass the ₹500 crore mark worldwide. Impressively, it is also the second fastest movie to reach this milestone, following in the footsteps of the Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar-starrer 2.0.
