About the Film
Jawan, directed by Atlee, was released on September 7 all over the globe in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. In addition to Shar Rukh Khan and Nayanthara, the high-octane action thriller also stars Vijay Sethupathi. Deepika Padukone can also be seen as a cameo role.
While at its heart a father-son narrative, Jawan uses Shah Rukh’s portrayal of the hero to bring attention to a range of social and political concerns. The film is a commercial success thanks in large part to SRK’s dual performance.
