Jigra OTT Release: Where will Alia Bhatt’s action-thriller land online after its theatrical release? All we know

Jigra OTT Release: Renowned Bollywood diva Alia Bhatt is finally back on the big screens with her much-awaited movie titled Jigra.

Directed by Vasan Bala, the Hindi thriller, on October 12, 2024, graced the theaters surrounded by massive hype & buzz around its premiere. However, so far, the movie has received a rather lukewarm reception from critics & fans who seem not really impressed with the movie’s weak plot and monotonous screenplay.

Additionally, considering the fierce competition Jigra is facing from two other big releases: Rajnikanth’s Vettiyan & Rajkumar Rao’s Vicjy Vidya Ka Wo Wala Video, it looks very hard for the movie to even make it to the list of  SOTY actresses’ top 10 highest grossing flickers of all time. Nevertheless, only time will tell how far the Alia starrer goes before wrapping up its business at the Box Office.

When and where to watch Jigra online?

Meanwhile, with Jigra looking forward to a decent theatrical run, reports about the movie’s OTT deal have already started emerging on the internet.

If sources are to be believed, Global OTT giant Netflix has cracked a handsome deal with the film’s makers, acquiring the digital rights of the Alia starrer for a fancy amount of price. This makes it obvious that after its Box Office journey, the promising female-centric film will make its debut on Netflix, allowing fans to enjoy it right from the comfort of their homes.

However, the exact OTT premiere date of the Vedang Raina starrer is not yet out and will only be announced by the movie makers after the completion of its theatrical run.

Telling a hard-hitting emotional tale of a sister’s love for her brother, Jigraa boasts a star-studded cast featuring Alia Bhatt, Vedant Raina, Aditya Nanda, Vivek Gomber, Ankur Khanna, Manoj Pahwa, Harssh A. Singh, Rahul Ravindra, Sikandar Kher and Akansha Ranjan Kapoor essaying key characters.

Karan Johar, in association with Apoorva Mehta, Shaheen Bhatt, Soumen Mishra & the film’s leading lady Alia Bhatt herself, has produced the movie under the banner of Dharma Productions
and Eternal Sunshine Productions.
