New Delhi: Veteran Telugu actor Viraj Ashwin, who mesmerized the fans with his exceptional performance in the super-hit July 2023 release Baby, graced the theaters once again in Anuprasad’s Telugu Rom-Com Jorugaa Husharugaa last December.
Although the film failed to perform at the Box office & received some harsh remarks from film critics, the captivating acting of its leading cast managed to receive immense praise from the audience.
Now, after nearly a month since the conclusion of Jorugaa Husharugaa’s theatrical run, the filmmakers have also announced the date of its OTT premiere & here’s what you should know about the same.
Jorugaa Husharugaa OTT Release
Officially confirming the film’s arrival on the digital platform, the moviemakers recently announced that Joruga Hushruga will start streaming on OTT platform Amazon Prime Video on 9 February 2024.
This will allow the fans to watch the Viraj Ashwin, Pujita Ponnada starrer love drama, this time from the comfort of their homes. However, one must take note that the movie will be available only to users who have a subscription to the service of Amazon Prime.
Jorugaa Husharugaa Story, Cast & Production
Helmed under the skillful direction of Anu Prasad, Joruhga is a romantic comedy produced by Nireesh Thiruveedula. It tells the tale of a software employee Santosh (Played by Viraj Ashwin) who works hard to help his father (Played by Saikumar) pay off his debut of Rs 20 lakhs.
However, Santosh’s life takes an unexpected turn when his girlfriend Nitya (Played by Poojita Ponnada) joins him at his workplace & his unmarried Boss ends up developing romantic feelings for her. How Santosh deals with the situation & manages to clear his father’s debt forms the crux of the story.
Besides featuring Viraj & Poojita as the leading duo, Jorugaa-Husharugaa, in its cast, sees several talented actors like Sonu Thakur, Siri Hanumanthu, Madhunandan, Sai Kumar and Rohini, Brahmaji playing pivotal roles.
