In the upcoming survival drama Kaala Paani, stars Mona Singh and Ashutosh Gowariker team together to save civilians from brutal forces.
On October 7, its long-awaited and much anticipated official trailer was finally released on the internet.
The phrase “black water punishment,” which was created during the time of the British Raj and refers to the punishment known as “Saza-e-Kalapani,” served as the inspiration for the title of this series, which takes place on the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
The trailer video for the upcoming survival drama, Kaala Paani, offers a look into the experiences of people who find themselves stranded on islands, far from the mainland, and with no imminent assistance in sight.

About the Series
Ashutosh Gowariker joins Mona Singh, Sukant Goel, Arushi Sharma, Amey Wagh, Radhika Mehrotra, Vikas Kumar, Chinmay Mandlekar, and Poornima Indrajith in the cast.
The series is directed by Sameer Saxena and Amit Golani and written by Biswapati Sarkar, Amit Golani, Sandeep Saket, and Nimisha Misra, with production handled by Posham Pa Pictures.
Ashutosh Gowariker also makes his acting comeback in Kaala Paani.
On October 18 of this year, Kaala Paani will debut on Netflix.
