New Delhi: The trailer for Vijay Varma’s upcoming criminal thriller, ‘Kaalkoot,’ has finally been released. Like ‘Dahaad’, Varma is again coming to impress the viewers with his new series KaalKoot. The trailer looks intimidating and offers a glimpse into the harsh realities of masculinity and systematic oppression. The Hindi web series Kaalkoot will premiere on the OTT platform JioCinema on July 27, 2023.
He’s on a quest to uncover the truth, but will he be able to uncover the darkness?

Plot
Ravi Shankar Tripathi, a sub-inspector of Sarsi, is the protagonist of the series, which centres on his investigation of a case involving an acid attack. As he investigates the acid attack cases, he unearths a shadowy and ominous underworld filled with bribery and other forms of illegal activity. He becomes tired of watching such crimes and bribery and wants to give up his job in frustration. When he finds out about the victim of the violent attack, a young girl named Parul, his attitude swings from one of apathy to one of joy. He meets Anjali, and they both tried to investigate such acid cases which are already taking place all over the city. Ravi makes the decision to conduct his own investigation into the event and determine who was responsible for it. In his pursuit of justice, he encounters roadblocks in the form of societal standards and expectations.
