New Delhi: Mumbai Police on Tuesday said that Kamal Rashid Khan has been arrested by Malad Police over his controversial tweet in 2020. KRK was was arrested after he landed at Mumbai Airport.
Kamal Rashid Khan will be presented before Borivali Court today, said Mumbai Police.
Kamaal R Khan, popularly known as KRK, has appeared in several Bollywood films like Munna Pandey Berozgaar, Deshdrohi, Ek Villain. He is every well known for his controversial tweets and he often lands in controversy. His tweets are all about the celebrities the way he criticises films.
In 2020, an FIR was registered against him for allegedly derogatory remarks against actors Rishi Kapoor and Irrfan Khan under section 294 and other provisions of the IPC.
Recently, he was criticised for his tweet that he had made about Virat Kohli which he later deleted it, he blamed Anushka Sharma for ‘putting in his head’ that he is suffering from depression.
This comes days after Virat opened up about feeling ‘mentally down’ in an interview with Star Sports.
