Kangana Ranaut reacts to backlash against Laal Singh Chaddha; Blames Aamir Khan for all negativity around the film

Now, actress Kangana Ranaut has taken to Instagram stories to open up about all the trolling received by the movie.

New Delhi: After a hiatus of four years, Aamir Khan will be seen returning to the big screen with Laal Singh Chaddha. The film is an official remake of the Hollywood movie Forest Grump which featured Tom Hanks. Directed by Advait Chandan, the movie will release on August 11, 2022.

With the release date coming close, the movie is receiving backlashes on Twitter. Though some people are protesting against the negative comments, some are trolling the Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan-starrer movie Laal Singh Chaddha. Now, actress Kangana Ranaut has taken to Instagram stories to open up about all the trolling received by the movie. She believes that the negative comments around Laal Singh Chaddha are “skillfully curated” by Aamir Khan himself, but “intolerant India” will be blamed for it.

Negativity around Laal Singh Chaddha is curated by Aamir: Kangana

Several comments are going around Twitter which say to boycott Aamir Khan starrer Laal Singh Chaddha. The severity of the backlash was so much that Aamir Khan himself addressed the issue and requested the audience to watch the film before dissing it. Although the support of celebrities like Milind Soman is helping a lot, Kangana Ranaut feels the whole negativity has been skilfully curated by Aamir Khan himself.

Taking to Instagram stories, Kangana Ranaut stated her opinion. Her message read, “I think all the negativity around upcoming relase Laal Singh Chadda is skill fully curated by mastermind Aamir Khan Ji himself, this year no Hindi films have worked ( barring one exception of a comedy sequel) only south films deeply rooted in Indian culture or with local flavour have worked, a Hollywood remake would have not worked anyway…. But now they will call India intolerant, Hindi films need to understand the pulse of audiences it’s not about being a Hindu or Muslim… even after Aamir Khan ji made Hinduphobic PK or called india intolerant he gave biggest hits of his life… please stop making it about religion or ideology, it’s takes away from their bad acting and bad films (sic).”

Take a look at the post here:

Aamir Khan’s ‘intolerant India’ comment had blown out, especially with the release of his upcoming movie. “As an individual, as part of this country as a citizen, we read in the papers what is happening, we see it on the news and certainly, I have been alarmed. I can’t deny. I have been alarmed by a number of incidents,” the actor stated at the Ramnath Goenka Excellence in Journalism Awards. He added, “When I chat with Kiran at home, she says ‘Should we move out of India?’ That’s a disastrous and big statement for Kiran to make. She fears for her child. She fears about what the atmosphere around us will be. She feels scared to open the newspapers every day.”

According to Kangana, Aamir Khan himself has created the negativity around Laal Singh Chaddha, so that if his film fails at the box office, he would blame the trolling and the Twitter trends, again projecting India as ‘intolerant,’ rather than the content of the film.

Aamir Khan reacts to Twitter trends and boycott messages around Laal Singh Chaddha

The severity of the backlash was so much so that Aamir Khan himself reacted to it saying that “it” hurts when people talk about boycotting Bollywood and Laal Singh Chaddha.

“Yes, I feel sad. Also, I feel sad that some of the people who are saying this, in their heart, they believe that I am someone who doesn’t like India. In their hearts they believe, but it is untrue. It is rather unfortunate that some people feel that way. That’s not the case. Please don’t boycott my film. Please watch my film,” Aamir said during a recent media interaction.
