New Delhi: Owing to the post-surgery complications of a fat-free cosmetic surgery, Kannada actor Chethana Raj died in a Bengaluru’s private hospital on Monday. Raj was best known for her roles in daily soaps like Doresani and Geetha. She was just 21-year-old.
According to media reports, the surgery was performed on the morning of May 16. However, she started facing a series of post-surgery complications on the same evening. She reportedly died because her lungs got accumulated with fluid while doctors could not stop it, leading to an unnatural death.
The dead body of the actors will now be sent for post-mortem to Ramaiah hospital and the real cause will be revealed then only.
Parents accused doctors of death
It is reported that Chentana did not inform about her surgery to her parents. She had arrived at the hospital with her friends. After the death of the actor, her parents accused the doctors of being responsible for the incident. It said to be that they have filed a complaint against the hospital committee in a local police station.
