New Delhi: Actor-comedian Kapil Sharma shared a couple of pictures with actor-filmmaker Nandita Das. While sharing the pictures, Kapil also called her ‘pagal director’ (translates to ‘crazy director’). The duo is known to be working together on a project.
Sharing the photos, Kapil wrote in the caption, “Me with my most hardworking, most talented, actor, writer and pagal director.” Not just the comedian’s fans, but actor Esha Gupta also commented on the post saying, “Two amazing ppl in one frame❤️.”

Earlier, in March also Kapil Sharma shared a picture with Nandita Das and Sayani Gupta while they were in KIIT- Kalinga Institue of Industrial Technology.

Kapil Sharma will be seen in a Nandita Das film which will be produced under the banner of Applause Entertainment. The project was announced in February this year. In the film, Kapil will be playing a character of a food delivery rider. Actor Shahana Goswami, who was last seen in the series ‘The Last Hour’, will be playing the female lead in the film.
Talkig about Kapil, Nandita Das said, “One day, Kapil Sharma popped up on my screen! I hadn’t seen his show, but I could see him wholly representing the ‘common man’, despite not being one anymore!” Talking about the film Kapil Sharma said that he is excited to do Nandita Das’ film. He added that he has followed Nandita’s work and is happy to do something different.
Kapil made his silver screen debut with Kis Kis Ko Pyaar Karoon and was later seen in ‘Firangi’ which was produced by the comedian. The upcoming Nandita Das film will mark his return to movies.
