New Delhi: Fans have been eagerly waiting for actor couple Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal to tie the knot for years, though it seems like the wait has finally come to an end. If reports are to be believed, the duo are set to get hitched by the end of September this year.
Richa recently confirmed the reports in an interview with English daily News 18, and further unveiled several details who would be interested to know. Read on
What Richa said on wedding
“I think shaadi… shaadi ho jaegi iss saal. Kar lenge kisi tarah se… (We will get married this year, will marry somehow). We’re very excited to get married but just worried about COVID and want to be responsible. We don’t want to be in the news for the wrong reasons”, she answered when asked about her wedding plans with Fazal.
“Plus, we’ve both gotten really, really busy when stuff opened up, and work resumed at full pace. So I’m saying we have to like do a live production job of taking combination dates and making this happen this year”.

About wedding preparations earlier
Ali and Richa were all set to get married in the year 2020, and had even made all the arrangement for it, though the event had to be postponed due to the first wave of Covid pandemic in the same year.
Since then, the wedding has been delayed for 2 years now, and it appears like both the actors have had enough of the bad luck and are now heading towards a new beginning for better.

Talking about people’s obsession with celebritiy weddings, Chadha said, “Who doesn’t want to have a little fun? I mean, I used to not get it but then all the recent celebrity weddings that have happened and how happy they make everyone when the pictures come out I get it now, I understand the fascination. Pehle, I wouldn’t understand it but now I get it. It’s like, sab ko life mein thodi khushi dekhne ka man kar raha hai (everyone wants to see some happiness).
