New Delhi: Fans of Bollywood actor Kareena Kapoor Khan are elated since the diva announced her OTT debut alongside actor Jaideep Ahlawat and Vijay Varma in a yet-to-be-titled project.
Now, according to the latest news reports, the upcoming Sujoy Ghosh directorial will be hitting the floors next week, while the first shoot for the project is scheduled to begin next week in Darjeeling. The second shoot is reportedly scheduled for later in May in Mumbai and the nearby cities.
News daily Mid Day quoted a source saying, “It’s a two-week schedule in the hill station that will see Kareena, Jaideep Ahlawat, and Vijay Varma film key scenes. Meanwhile, a part of the production design team will erect a set in Mehboob studio. The Mumbai leg will kick off by May-end, with Sujoy hoping to shoot a chunk of the film before the rains hit the city”.
However, an official confirmation in this regard is yet to come.
For the unversed, the upcoming film is said to be an official Hindi adaptation of Japanese writer Keigo Higashino’s ‘The Devotion of Suspect X’. The movie is scheduled to stream on OTT giant Netflix in 2023.
Meanwhile, apart from her digital debut, Khan is also looking forward to the release of her much-anticipated film ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ opposite Aamir Khan. ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ is also a Hindi adaptation of award-winning and critically acclaimed Hollywood film Forrest Gump.
Kareena was last seen in the 2019 release ‘Good Newwz’ opposite Akshay Kumar.
