New Delhi: Wedding festivities for Bollywood duo Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal’s grand wedding are all set to get started in Sawai Madhopur district, Rajasthan from tomorrow onwards.
As preparations pace up for the speculated wedding ceremony in the forthcoming week, we’d earlier brought to you that Vicky and Katrina are getting hitched for life in December, in a 3-day lavish wedding in Rajasthan.
The couple has reportedly booked a 700-year-old resort, Six Senses Fort Barwara, in Sawai Madhopur, while about 45 hotels have been booked in Ranthambore for the grand event.

# A stellar Sangeet on Dec 7
The glamorous evening is expected to be an intimate affair among close family and friends with Bollywood wedding songs playing on the loop. Katrina and Vicky will reportedly deliver a performance together, while both of their families as well as some co-workers are expected to join the bash.
# An exorbitant Mehendi on Dec 8
A special mehendi (henna) from Rajasthan has been selected for Katrina, which is worthRs 1 lakh! The special henna from Jodhpur’s Pali district is called the Sojat Mehendi. The Bollywood Life’s report stated, “The artisans of Sojat are naturally preparing mehndi and will be not add any chemical to it. Moreover, the sojat henna is being prepared by hand and will be sent to Katrina. According to the mehndi vendor of Sojat, the mehndi preparation for Katrina’s wedding will cost around 50,000 to 1 lakh rupees. But, the businessman will not be taking any money for the same.”
# A Royal wedding on Dec 9
A royal-style mandap for Vicky and Katrina has also been staged in the resort. As per the reports by India Today, the couple will tie the knot in the mandap. They will also be taking pheras at the spot. Reportedly, made completely out of glass, something like a pavilion or gazebo has been constructed at the wedding venue along with other decors.
# A heavenly Reception on Dec 10
As per the reports, the couple will throw a small reception for friends and extended family after returning to Mumbai. Reception is basically for those who could not be included in the guest list for the wedding function.
