It seems that the photographs were taken inside the director’s home. In the first picture, Madhuri can be seen accompanying Subhash Ghai and Dr. Shriram Nene. After that, a group portrait was taken with everyone present, including Anupam Kher, Sanjay Dutt, and Jackie Shroff, along with Madhuri, Dr. Shriram, and Subhash. After that, there were two further selfies taken throughout the supper.

Soon after he released them, admirers began to speculate about whether a sequel to Khalnayak might be forthcoming.

In 2020, Subhash Ghai said in an interview with Mumbai Mirror that there will be a continuation of the story Khalnayak. He said, “For the last six-seven months we have only been creating content and now, I’m ready with two bound scripts – a sequel to Khal Nayak and a remake of my first directorial, Kalicharan.” But, there are no updates on the film sequel yet.

Khalnayak has been out for 30 years. Subhash had said to the Hindustan Times at the time that they did not have sufficient human resources to match the country’s expanding needs. That’s why average candidates get the job. If twenty quality films are being produced, only a few will have the talent to succeed. Most films nowadays fail because of the false belief that there are not enough skilled individuals working in the industry.

According to Subhash, everyone from directors to content heads to actors to editors to technicians is part of the talent pool.

The 1993 film Khalnayak had every hallmark of a Subhash Ghai film. The drama, conflict, combat scenes, scores, and comedic moments were all magnificent. The mega-hit “Choli Ke Peechhey Kya Hai” continues to be a fan favourite. Madhuri Dixit’s performance in ‘Ganga’ was formidable. As the antagonist, Sanjay Dutt’s role was unforgettable.
