New Delhi: Actress Kirti Kulhari confirmed that she will repeat her role as Parminder in the follow-up to the 2010 comedy film Khichdi: The Movie.
Taking it to her official social media handle, Kulhari shared the first promo video of the upcoming movie. In the video, Kirti Kulhari is seen to be playing the same role of Parminder. By posting it she has captioned, “Parminder” …. and all the other Parminders are coming back with their mad ride! It’s super fun to be in this character again after more than 10 years of waiting!

Earlier to this, actress Kirti Kulhari confirmed that she will reprise her role as Parminder in the sequel to the 2010 comedy film Khichdi: The Movie. The actress, who made her debut in the first installment, has begun filming for the sequel. “Khichdi 2 is finally coming, and it’s going to be a wonderful ride!” Kirti remarked on the sequel. “I remember so many things from the first film… I am thrilled to be returning as Parminder in Khichdi 2 because here is where it all began for me.”
Khichdi debuted in 2002 as a sitcom, following the antics of the Parekh family, led by Himanshu, Hansa, Babuji, and Praful.

Khichdi began as a TV comedy show in 2002 and quickly became a huge success. In 2005, it was reintroduced on television as Instant Khichdi. The film then moved to the big screen in 2010. And it returned to television in 2018 as Khichdi Returns. The gang is now gearing up for their comeback to the big screen with Khichdi 2. Supriya Pathak, Rajeev Mehta, Anang Desai, and Vandana Pathak also appear in the film.
