New Delhi: Bollywood actor Aamir Khan is trending in the news headlines since he announced the release date of his film, Laal Singh Chaddha on August 11 and its trailer. Many people on social media are demanding to boycott Laal Singh Chaddha for his old controversial remarks and the film seen in PK.

The film is said to be a Hindi remake of the Hollywood film Forrest Gump.  In the film, Amir is playing the role of a Sikh man. On his role in the film, some people are saying that Amir has insulted the Sikh religion as he did in PK.

”My appeal to everyone kindly don’t waste ur hard earned money & time to watch these “Nepo Kids, Druggies, Mafia, Porn Bollywood” #BoycottBollywood ? I should say here utilize ur money & time for needy people Our beloved Sushant Man Of Value,” wrote a user on Twitter.

”Hatts of to this man for spreading awareness of #AamirKhan fake Patriotism,” said a user after seeing a viral video.

”Aamir Khan arranged free screening of #LaalSinghChaddha, no tickets still the hall is half empty ? People don’t want to watch it for free even. Great going guys, stay committed for few more days,” wrote another man.

Aamir Khan chose a Sikh character in Laal Singh Chaddha which witnessed a lot of criticism. Talking to a leading Hindi channel, Amir Khan said, ”The character was Sikh because Atul (The writer of the film) chose for me. I believe Atul wanted to portray the events in India as was seen in Forest Gump.”

”It is a Sikh character for me. I cannot imagine Laal any other way,” added Khan.
