Empuraan OTT Release: On March 27th, 2025, veteran star Mohanlal graced the big screens with his much-awaited Malayalam movie titled L2: Empuraan (L2E)
Serving as the prequel as well as the sequel to the veteran actors’ 2019 release blockbuster action drama Lucifer, the Prithiviraj Sukumaran directorial film has so far witnessed a positive reception from the cinemagoers, who are going gaga over its intriguing storyline, screenplay, and power-packed acting performances.
Meanwhile, with the action thriller looking all pumped up to kickstart its Box office journey on a high note, fans are already excited about its release on the OTT screens, which will allow them to enjoy the movie right from their comfort zone.
Coming to the same, the latest update, according to the reports, is that the Mohanlal starrer flick will make its digital debut on JioHotstar after wrapping up its journey on the Box Office. However, it is important to note here that an official confirmation about the same is yet to be made by the filmmakers.
Plot
It is over half a decade since the events shown in Lucifer and Kerela’s CM, once looked upon as a people’s leader, has now turned into a greedy man who won’t do nothing to stay in power and fulfill his evil ambitions. Cast and Production
The cast of L2 Empuraan includes Mohanlal, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Manju Warrier, Tovino Thomas, Vivek Oberoi, and Sai Kumar in pivotal roles. Antony Perumbavoor, in association with Gokulam Gopalan, has backed the movie under the banner of Aashirvad Cinemas, Sree Gokulam Movies, and Lyca Productions.
