New Delhi: Thalapathy Vijay, a popular actor, has his upcoming film Leo directed by Vikram and Kaithi director Lokesh Kanagaraj. Fans and movie goers are thrilled about the release of the film, which has already sold one million tickets in India for its opening day, according to the trade portal Sacnilk. The film is set to have early morning shows in Karnataka and Kerala, starting as early as 4 am.

Thalapathy Vijay’s latest movie will commence at 4:00 am in Carnival Cinemas D-Mall in Punalur, 4:30 am in Kannur’s Savitha Film City, JK Cinemas in Triprayar and at Saagara theatre’s screen number 2. At the same time, Liberty Cinemas in Kannur is organizing 6 am shows for ardent fans at its diamond screen and 7 am shows at its platinum screen. The Kuttiady Area Committee has also arranged 7 am shows for Leo for ardent fans and moviegoers. In Karnataka, theatres have witnessed a surge in bookings, as per the fan club of Vijay in Kerala. The first shows for the film in Tamil Nadu will begin at 9 am, as stated by Tamil Nadu minister MP Saminathan.

Bala claimed that many Thalapathy Vijay fans are eager for Leo to achieve a lifetime collection of Rs 1,000 crore, adding that a good release in the Hindi-speaking regions is crucial to reach this goal. He further stated that Thalapathy Vijay’s fans are not wrong to expect a collection of Rs 1,000 crore, but it requires a good release in Hindi-speaking regions to achieve it. Bala also expressed his hope that upcoming Tamil movies would renegotiate their OTT deals and have an eight-week-long theatrical release.
