Leo Director Lokesh Kanagaraj has dropped a huge plot clue for the next Thalapathy Vijay movie

Lokesh Kanagaraj, the film’s director, recently gave an in-depth interview to Cinema Express on YouTube, where he discussed the Thalapathy Vijay starrer at length, revealed some intriguing new details, and hinted at some of the film’s narrative.

New Delhi: The forthcoming action film Leo, which stars Thalapathy Vijay in the title role, is getting ready for its massive premiere in theatres on October 19.

In recent days, filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj has been completely occupied with the marketing of his ambitious project. This contrasts with the fact that the South Indian film industry star-director, has steadfastly avoided participating in promotional activities before.

Lokesh Kanagaraj, the film’s director, recently gave an in-depth interview to Cinema Express on YouTube, where he discussed the Thalapathy Vijay starrer at length, revealed some intriguing new details, and hinted at some of the film’s narrative. The director who made his name with action movies has said that Leo’s plot follows a formula that’s all too familiar to moviegoers.

During his conversation with the Cinema Express, Lokesh Kanagaraj was questioned about the Leo trailer, which follows a storyline that is comparable to how a film is normally structured, consisting of a distinct beginning and end to the viewing experience.

The director, who previously said that it was a premeditated endeavour, continued by saying that it was a planned attempt and that he intended the trailer to represent precisely what the story of the film starring Thalapathy Vijay is about.

The filmmaker has said that he tried a non-linear narrative with the film Vikram, however, the movie Leo is not a non-linear film and instead has a linear storyline. He proceeded by noting that Tamil cinema had seen the film before and that he wanted to present the subject freshly. He went on to say that these kinds of tales are capable of having a great deal more material added to them, making them more engaging. He envisioned Thalapathy Vijay playing the lead role in such a film. Lokesh went so far as to say that the experience that people in the audience would have in the theatre would be unique.

“I’ve felt that a lot more can be added to such stories, and it can be made quite more exciting. And I wanted to make a big star like Thalapathy Vijay act in such a story. Obviously, it is a template story. But the experience that you get in theatre – that will be different,” he said.
