New Delhi: Raghu Shastry’s latest Kannada-Telugu flick Lineman arrived on big screens amid huge expectations in March 2024.
However, despite having a massive buzz surrounding its release, the Thrigun starrer fell flat at the Box Office & ended its theatrical run as a debacle.
Now, in a bid to move on from the bilingual flicker’s forgettable theatrical run, the filmmakers have rolled out Lineman (Telugu) on its digital streaming partner Amazon Prime Video. The film is available for watching on the OTT platform from 4th May 2024 and fans can enjoy it sitting comfortably in their homes.
Lineman Telugu Movie OTT Release Date Announcement
Taking to his social media handle, Lineman’s lead superstar Thrigun, On Saturday, himself broke the news of Lineman’s digital debut on Amazon Prime Video. Sharing a post on Instagram, the 43-year-old actor wrote, “Your friendly neighborhood #Lineman is yours now on @primevideoin.”

Meanwhile, it is noteworthy to mention here that the comedy entertainer’s Kannada version is also expected to land on the same OTT platform in the coming days.
Lineman Plot
Written by Raghu Shastry, the story of Lineman takes place in Khammam’s small village called Satthipalli. It circles the life of Natraj (Played by Thrigun) who serves as a lineman in the area.
Meanwhile, Devudamma (Played by Jayshree) is a well-respected midwife in the entire village as she has helped several women during their pregnancies and helped them successfully deliver babies over the years. On her 100th Birthday, the villagers, in a bid to show gratitude for her services and commitment are throwing a grand birthday bash attended by hundreds of guests.
However, forced by some extraordinary circumstances, Nattu spoils Devudamma’s once-in-a-lifetime moment and switches off the electricity supply. What caused him to make the brave decision to destroy the auspicious celebrations and where the consequences of his actions take him is the rest of the movie’s story.
