New Delhi: Malaika Arora has been admitted to Apollo hospital for treatment after she received injuries in an accident on Saturday. The accident took place at an expressway in Maharashtra’s Khopoli, according to Khopoli police. However, the police will register an FIR after investing the case in detail.
Malaika’s car crushed between two cars
Malaika was travellin in her Range Rovar. On the expressway, her car was reported to be crushed between tourist cars from the front and back sides. Taking to a leading daily, police inspector Shirish Pawar from the area said, ”The accident took place at the 38 kilometres point on Mumbai-Pune expressway. It is an accident-prone area. So far, it is not clear who received what kind of injuries as the motorists drove away immediately following the accident.”
FIR to be registered soon
For now, the police have made a mention of the incident in their books. According to the assistant police inspector Haresh Kalsekar from Khopoli police station, they have got the registration number of all the three cars. They are trying to reach the owners of the two cars to understand whose fault this is. ”After investigating how the accident happened and who was at fault,” added Kalsekar.
Malaika attends a fashion event
Malaika was travelling in the area as she coming from a fashion event. She was also sharing pictures and videos from the event on her Instagram Stories.
On the personal front, she divorced Arbaaz Khan in 2017. She has also a son with Khan named Arhaan. Malaika is currently dating Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor.
