New Delhi: Raako Yogandran’s directorial school comedy Marakkuma Nenjam was released in the theaters on February 2nd, 2024. Although the film failed to impress the critics because of numerous loopholes & shortcomings in its plotline, it did get a decent reception from comedy-genre lovers by perfectly delivering a much-needed dose of Nostalgia with neat light-hearted entertainment.
Meanwhile, over a month after Marakkuma Nenjam arrived in theaters, its makers have finally unveiled the platform on which the movie will start streaming in the coming days. Here’s all you must know about the same.
Where to watch Marakkuma Nenjam on OTT
Marakkuma Nenjam is all set to entertain the OTTians by making its digital debut on Amazon Prime Video. The filmmakers have also confirmed the same by sharing a date reveal poster of the film on Wednesday. A caption has also been attached to the poster which reads, “MarakkumaNenjam is coming soon on PrimeVideoIN.”

However, the official release date of the film is yet to be unveiled by the makers.

Director Raako Yogandran’s Marakkuma Nenjam is an attempt to take viewers back to their school days & trigger a refreshing feeling of Nostalgia in the process. The film’s story follows the life of a group of grown adults who are compelled by a court’s order to return to their Boarding School, the one from where they passed out in 2008, and study there for 3 months to reappear in their Board exams.
In its cast, the movie sees VJ Rakshan and Malina playing the lead couple with Rahul Sinha, Swetha Venugopal, Munishkanth, and Muthazhagan Dhrona in other supporting roles. It was produced by Raghu Yelluru and was released on the big screens bankrolled by Filia Entertainment Pvt Ltd & Kuviyam Mediaworks on 2 February 2024.
