Despite being made with an extremely low budget, the family drama, which was released in theaters on August 23, received massive acclaim from the cinephiles & concluded its BO run with respectable collections.

Meanwhile, about 4 weeks after Maruthi Nagar Subramanyam’s premiere in the cinemas, its makers have reportedly locked in a profitable deal with Aha Video which has bought the film’s digital rights for a handsome price.
With this, Aha is now all set to roll out the Teugu entertainer on its platform in the coming days, allowing its subscribers to watch the movie right from the comfort of their homes.
Notably, while the exact scheduled date of the Annapurnama starrer is still under wraps, sources suggest that the movie might land on Aha on or around September 20, 2024.
Plot of the Film
Helmed by Laxman Karya, Maruthi Nagar Subramanyam sees a struggling father becoming rich overnight after his bank account is mysteriously credited with Rs 10 Lakh. While this lump sum amount of money brings a lot of happiness in the man’s life, it also causes a fair share of drama at the same time.
How the middle-aged guy deals with the situation and uses the money to financially stabilize his family is what the movie is all about.

Besides Rao Ramesh, Maruthi Nagar Subramanyam, in its star cast also features Indraja Ajay, Anapurnama, and Ankit Koyya amongst others in crucial roles.
Bujju Rayudu Pentyala, in association with Mohan Karya, has bankrolled the comedy-drama under the banners of Lokemaatre Creations and PBR Cinemas.
