Mast Mein Rehne Ka Review: The movie is both conventional and sincere; offers a joyously rambling comedy

New Delhi: Now you can watch Mast Mein Rehne Ka on Prime Video. Jackie Shroff, Neena Gupta, Abhishek Chauhan, Monika Panwar, and Faisal Malik—all highly regarded for their versatility—are featured in Vijay Maurya’s film. You may now watch Mast Mein Rehne Ka in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada on the streaming service, as of December 8th.

Plot

Vijay Maurya wrote the screenplay for the Hindi film, which is based on a narrative by Payal Arora. Mumbai patois is woven throughout the comedic and dramatic elements.

In the story, Jackie Shroff’s character, Kamat, is so lonely that he invites a thief to stay with him. Then, Kamat meets a new robbery victim. Kamat, whose trousers fall midway down his waist, is startled by Handa, portrayed by Neena Gupta, whose motormouth personality and adeptness at avoiding life’s surprises are as noticeable as the mole on her chin. Both Handa and Kamat aren’t as naive as they seem; neither is as optimistic as she says she is.

Review

The upbeat, meandering story about two couples brought together by fate is Mast Mein Rehne Ka, directed, written, and performed by actor Vijay Maurya.

The development and evolution of Hindi film have relentlessly hammered home this admirable idea. The term seems to contradict the city’s inherent unpredictability, which is accompanied by a sense of turmoil. The film’s colourful and amusing characters passionately argue that it’s worth a go.

Jackie Shroff’s classic career and Neena Gupta’s fresh popularity make them eager to take on challenging assignments. They both have given quite an impressive performance throughout. Though some parts may seem overdoing the roles. Still, seeing them together is encouraging.

Mast Mein Rehne Ka shows that difficulties and issues don’t discriminate and must be faced.

Vijay Maurya’s novel film doesn’t linger, but certain scenes seem like a warm embrace after a long, stressful day in a city that never sleeps.

The background music sometimes repeats the title, emphasising life is about living fully.

Overall, the movie is quite fun and worth viewing.
