Mayavanam OTT Release Date: Jaffer Idukki’s Malayalam movie Mayavanam can now be streamed online on a popular digital platform.
Helmed by Jagathlal Chandrasekharan, the flicker earlier arrived on the Big screens on January 19 2024 & received an underwhelming reception from the cinephiles. Eventually, the film ended its theatrical run in disappointment as it clearly failed to meet the expectations of the makers
Nevertheless, the adventure drama has now landed on Amazon Prime Video where it will test its luck with the OTTians with the hope of performing better in comparison with its forgettable theatrical run.
Plot of the Film
Mayanam sees a group of friends from medical school embarking on a challenging hiking voyage to explore the wilderness of a mysterious forest located in an isolated area.
However, their little adventure trip soon becomes a battle for survival after a series of unexpected crises unfolds, leaving the youngsters struggling to stay alive and save themselves from the looming danger.
With the unforeseen crisis testing the youngsters’ determination, survival instincts, and physical as well as mental toughness with each passing hour, Will the group manage to overcome the threat and make it out alive of the gloomy forest before their willpower is crushed by the hostile circumstances? Cast and Production
Amina Nijam, Alencier Ley Lopez, Senthil Krishna, Arun Cherukavil, Akhila Anoki, Jaffer Idukki, Shaju K.S, Sudhi Koppa, Sreekanth Murali and Riyas Narmakala have essayed main roles in the Mayavanam. Jagathlal Chandrashekharan has produced the survival thriller under the banner of Saisoorya Films.
