Since its very first day in the cinemas, the film has been wreaking havoc at the ticket windows with its global BO collection soaring past the colossal figure of Rs 713 crores (Approx) as of 4 February.

Initially, the makers had no intentions of releasing Mean Girls on the big screens & it was slated to premiere directly on the popular over-the-top platform Paramount +. However, due to a final moment change in the plans, they ditched their previous idia and went ahead with the movie’s theatrical release instead. Now, as the movie’s BO run is nearing its end, sources have confirmed that Mean Girls will be streaming on Paramount + in the first half of 2024.
While the official release date of the movie is yet to be officially unveiled, the previous release patterns hint that Mean Girls will arrive on OTT one and a half months after its premiere in the theaters. This suggests that the movie might make its digital debut on Paramount + by the end of February 2024.
Following that, the musical comedy is also expected to be made available on numerous other VOD platforms including Amazon Prime, Apple TV, and Vudu where users will get the option of renting and purchasing it.
